We take the guesswork out of your workout plan! No more walking into the gym without a plan or not seeing the results you want. We want to provide you with as many tools and resources to help you move well and get strong while doing it!

 

Our team creates a fitness program for YOU. No more frustration about where to start. We give you guidance and a plan that is designed by physical therapists. It’s made to be a simple, user-friendly experience with videos, modifications, and detailed instructions.

 

You can stop worrying about what exercises to do, how much weight to use, or when to make changes to your workout program - we do it all for you!

 

We meet you where you're at! Each program is geared toward your goals. You can choose a body weight workout program that requires no weight or have a more customized strength plan using equipment at a gym or fitness center.

How Does Functionize’s Online Fitness Coaching Work? 

To get started with our fitness plan, all you need to do is decide which plan works best for you then reach out to get set up.

 

All of our online fitness programs are designed by physical therapists and consist of 1-5 strength training workouts per week. You decide how many workouts you want and are charged monthly for the plan. You can always adjust up or down but require a 30 day notice for all changes.

All programs are designed for 12 weeks. Currently we offer two types of programs:

  1. The beginner program, pre-designed by a physical therapist to address common strength needs that every athlete requires.

  2. The individualized program, customized to your individual goals and will be modified on an ongoing basis.

You’ll receive access to all your workout plans through Train Heroic, a smart phone app on your phone. You can track your weights, repetitions, and move a workout to another day if you can’t get to it. You’ll even be able to communicate directly with your physical therapist/coach through the app.

 

Each exercise will have a video demonstration that is carefully made to ensure that you know exactly how to perform each movement! No need to be concerned whether you are doing the movement right or wrong.

 

All exercises will have suggested weights and repetitions, along with modifications and equipment options. This will ensure that you can always achieve the desired stimulus and intensity to hit your goals.

Then fill in your information and we’ll reach out to get you started. If you are new to our office, we require that you complete our 5 Point Check Up to determine your baseline level of fitness. From there we will know your starting level and design your program around that.

The 5 Point Check Up includes baseline measurements of skeletal muscle mass, body fat mass and metabolism which are important metrics for tracking the success of a workout program. 

Individualized Strength Programming

Total Per Month

All programs will be billed at the start of the month and continue indefinitely until you say you're done!  We require a 30 day written notice to discontinue your plan.

Beginner Foundational Strength Programming

For people new to strength training

  • 1-3 workouts per week

 

  • Workouts delivered through the Train Heroic app on your phone

 

  • All exercises will have suggested weights, repetitions, equipment and video demonstrations so you know exactly what to do.

 

  • Direct communication with your physical therapist/coach through the Train Heroic app.

Workout Per Week Up to 3 Workouts a Week

1 workout/week = $25/month

2 workouts/week = $50/month

3 workouts/week = $75/month

All programs will be billed at the start of the month and continue indefinitely until you say you're done!  We require a 30 day written notice to discontinue your plan.
